Yes it's that time of year again; the time when we are inundated with reviews and best of the year lists. So we thought whay not join in the fun and have the Software4Students review of the year!
Let’s take a look at some of the money-saving and entertaining highlights of 2011:
Spring 2011
In January 2011 we saw the standard rate of VAT rise from 17.5% to
20%...unlike many retailers, Software4Students decided to absorb the rise in
VAT – keeping software prices for students affordable!
We asked you to share your most cringe-worthy photos with us to win a
stunning HTC smartphone. Nadia (picture left) secured the most
amount of votes and bagged herself a slick new phone.

Summer 2011
We decided to give our fans something to look forward to after their exams and gave you the chance to win ‘Software4Students VIP Treatment to the Leeds Festival 2011’. The contest attracted over 11,000 entries and the lucky Laura Wellings (pictured left) set off on her trip to the festival. Read her experience of 'glam camping'!
When it was time to unwind for the summer and you were all off enjoying your well-deserved summer holidays we were busy redesigning the Software4Students website to freshen things up and improve the overall navigation.

Autumn 2011
As the new school year arrived so did a whole new range of products and money-saving
goodness for all of our customers. We added a range of new web design software,
graphic design software, study tools and more.
Back to school season is an expensive time on parents and students alike so we cut our
prices even further on popular Microsoft Office and Windows 7 bundles packages and
the Adobe Design Premium range.
We gave you the chance to win one of the hottest tech gadgets of 2011, an iPad 2 and
get paid for using your favourite social networks!

Winter 2011 
Here at Software4Students we decided to get in the festive spirit and so we launched our first ever Christmas gift shop selling a range of tech gadgets and games. We gave you the chance to win £250 worth of tech toys.

As you can see here at Software4Students we spend a lot of time coming up with ideas to make the UK’s student software store even more awesome and help your money go further. Other student software stores in the UK provide discounts but don’t take much interest in their customers once a sale has been made – and that’s where we differ.
Yes, we always strive to provide the best student software discounts possible to our customers but unlike other student software stores, we want to engage and listen to our customers. We want to reward our students for their hard work in school and college. We want to reward our customers for their loyalty and spreading the word about the program - because we know that without the amazing support that our customers have given us the Software4Students program wouldn’t be where it is today.
